Our Organization is lead by a team of dedicated maritime professionals with over 30 years of experience collectively in International Crew Management and Manning Operations. Together, we have developed an effective and efficient crew management system, enabling Aquamarine Agency to provide the highest caliber of Seafarer Recruitment & Placement Services both locally and globally.

Chandler Sands, BS, MBA, has been an Executive and Board Member in the Maritime Sector for just over 10 years. Though a certified internal auditor, he brings 25 years of Banking & Finance (Retail, Private and International), Accounting, Internal Audit, Compliance and Insurance experience from leadership positions held in several national and international companies.
Previously, with charge in-hand back in 2009, he commences the development of Campbell Shipping Company Limited, a Ship Technical Management Company in Nassau Bahamas and a Crew Manning Company in Mumbai India. Today, Campbell Shipping Company Limited, Bahamas, and Campbell Shipping Private Limited, India, manage the day to day operations of 17 international bulk cargo ships and employs over 500 sea and shore staff, including 45 Bahamian seafarers.

Anneesheia Williams, BS, has been a working professional in the maritime industry for over ten years. After a short stint on the Royal Bahamas Defense Force serving as a Woman Marine, she was successfully awarded a full scholarship by the Bahamas Maritime Authority, to pursue a Bachelor’s degree program in Marine Transportation. Upon graduation from the California Maritime Academy in 2008
as a licensed Deck Officer of the Watch, she commenced her international sea-going career where she had the opportunity to serve on a variety of Merchant ships including tank, cruise and bulk vessels. In 2011, she transitioned to the business of shore-side ship management, where she worked for four years in the manning arm of Campbell Shipping Company Ltd. One of her major responsibilities was the oversight and enhancement of Campbell Shipping’s successful cadet training program, where she groomed and trained a number of young Bahamian cadets and seafarers, preparing them to embark on international careers at sea. With a clear vision and the determination to make a significant mark in contributing to the further development of the maritime industry in The Bahamas, coupled with her sea-going experience and shore side technical expertise, she is positioned to be a dynamic force in driving the industry forward here in The Bahamas.

Jamal Smith, BS, DPSM, has been instrumental in the development of The Bahamas Maritime Seafarers Pool over the past ten years. Working in the Manning Department in the Nassau office of Campbell Shipping Company Limited, he has been a key driving force in the recruitment, development and deployment of Bahamian seafarers. professional development courses in Maritime including Diploma Ship Management offered by Lloyds, Galbraiths Shipping Courses, MLC 2006 ABS, STCW MCA and Class Internal Auditing. Jamal has conducted numerous international research exercises to understudy various educational frameworks thereby familiarizing himself with the universal standard for Maritime training. These reviews were conducted at SUNY Maritime Academy, Holland College, T.S. Rahmahan and Caribbean Maritime Institute. Jamal has been a member of the Bahamas Maritime Authority Scholarship selection Committee since 2005 and has played a major role introducing students throughout the Islands of the Bahamas to the maritime industry.Here it is his desire to have a great impact in the continued effort to encourage, mentor and deploy many more Bahamians to a fruitful career at sea. Jamal’s desire is to continue to greatly impact the industry by encouraging and mentoring young Bahamians and promoting large number of fruitful careers at sea.
